Virtual Reality Clinic

We have the combined software and hardware to provide VR-based treatments of phobias, especially for fears of flying, driving in tunnels, heights, closed spaces, public speaking, dogs and several other situations. Our clinicians integrate this with other cognitive-behavioural (CBT) approaches to arrive at a more powerful and therefore more efficient treatment for each person.

 

Eating Disorders

We provide assessment and treatment of all eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating, picky and avoidant eating (ARFID), and nocturnal eating syndrome. Our clinicians undergo extra training and supervision in the area of eating disorders, as it is a specialised area of practice. Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) is another term for conversion disorder, which is when a person’s central nervous system is generating symptoms even though the body is fine and healthy. We have several clinicians who are training in and interested in this condition and the many ways that it can manifest. We work closely with physical therapists to get the best results possible.
